Morning Coffee with a View

Set in the Green Mountains in the town of East Dorset, the cabins are nestled into the side of the mountain across from sweeping mountain views. With adequate privacy, each cabin has a small outdoor space that guests are free to enjoy, but there are common areas for all including a patio with grill, fire pit and green space.

Everything’s Right Here

Forgot your toothbrush? Need eggs for your morning breakfast? Rather grab a danish and a coffee that’s already made? The East Dorset General Store is just at the bottom of the driveway. The general store and gas station are a great stop before hitting the road to fuel up - both the car and the people - before a day of enjoying all that Southern Vermont has to offer!

Self-Contained Convenience

With a kitchenette, living room with mountain views, bedroom and full bathroom, everything you need is right here. Whether you spend your days out in the beautiful Vermont sunshine skiing or hiking and just need to kick back and relax in between runs/hikes; or are enjoying a retreat weekend away, make yourself at home.

We’re the Collearys. And we’re happy you stopped by.

We’re the new owners of the Marbledge Cabins in East Dorset, VT. When COVID started to be a thing, we felt like having a second place to hang out with our kids would be a good idea… since Paul’s in the real estate business back at home in Massachusetts, we figured we’d look at some property in VT… we were checking out a house in East Dorset and noticed a sign outside of the Marbledge Lodge. We stayed there about 13 years prior and we loved the little cabins, so we thought, “why not?”

We love Vermont, love projects, LOVE people - so here we are! The beginning of what we hope will be a long stay in the town of East Dorset. We’ve got some ideas brewing, but for now we’re grateful to be in the beautiful cabins that Jae and Jack Mysliwiec cared for for many years. We’re going to do our best to continue their legacy of being great hosts and great community members.

That photo is us a few years back. We’re older and grayer but we still love to hang out together and we still love to laugh. We hope you’ll come see us.
