Hildene - The Lincoln family home in the heart of Manchester offers guests an opportunity to go back in time and tour the home and outbuildings of Robert (son of Abraham) & Mary Lincoln.

The Wilson House - Co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous William G. Wilson was born in East Dorset and the place of his birth has been transformed into a bed and breakfast that hosts group meals, meetings and retreats. Located just about one mile from the cemetery where Wilson is laid to rest.

Stratton - with winter skiing, summer biking and hiking trails and other outdoor activities, and year-round dining and shopping, Stratton is just a 15 minute drive from the Cabins and always a great time.

Bromley - a shorter drive and a smaller mountain than Stratton, Bromley offers a great ski experience in the winter and an amazing adventure park option in the summer.

Manchester Town Center - with restaurants, stores and outlets, there’s plenty to do and see in this picturesque New England.

Emerald Lake State Park - With a small beach and lake for swimming, fishing, kayaking and exploring, Emerald Lake (pictured left) is a gorgeous place to spend a spring, summer or fall afternoon.

Vermont Summer Festival - Six weeks of equestrian competition each summer, just down the street!

*Please note that VT does have a “mud season” that typically begins late March/early April and lasts until around Memorial Day - some hiking trails are closed during mud season to prevent damage - check the VT Agency of Natural Resources website if you’re planning a spring visit to make sure you’re up to date on trail closings and/or modifications!
